Health and Physical Education

At Camp Hill we offer an inclusive and diverse Physical Education program that caters for all ages and abilities. Daily Physical Education lessons aim to build skills and enable children to learn to play a variety of sports. Skill development begins with the introduction of Fundamental Motor Skills and progresses through to the learning of sport specific skills. Students will have opportunities to be involved in many sporting activities such as an annual gymnastics program, cross country running at school and regional levels and athletics sports. Our swimming program in term four is an intensive five day program that teaches children of all grade levels and follows The Royal Life Saving Society Swim & Survive program. This program aims to develop both skill and safety; it incorporates survival skills, whilst teaching stroke development and correction for all students. An extensive P.M.P program is offered to all junior students.

In addition to these programs, as students progress through the school they will be offered opportunities to represent Camp Hill at many sporting carnivals that cover a range of sports such as AFL football, Netball, Volleyball and Basketball.

Above all our attitude is to have a go and have some fun.
